Site 2 - The Forge at Fiddler's Ridge
Great group camping location
We loved tent camping on John's land. We were in site 2 and it is a large open flat area with a firepit and picnic table. Plenty of space for kids or animals to roam and to set up tents. The outhouse is a little ways from camp but not an issue. just annoying if you needed to get up in the night to go. We drove our car to the outhouse sometimes and walked other times. John is a very generous host and has a beautiful garden.

Site 2 - The Forge at Fiddler's Ridge
My friends and I loved this spot! We stayed at site #2, which was really nice to have access to the pole barn when a storm came through. John was so warm and welcoming and a great communicator. We would definitely go back!

Always a pleasure staying at John's sites! Beautiful place to let our dogs explore and swim in the creek. Outhouse is always clean and stocked, sites are well maintained. Very private. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay at the hilltop site, definitely got workout going up and down it. The creek was a great cooling escape from the heat and the kids had fun catching little creatures. John is really friendly and helped suggest things to do in the area.

Beautiful and peaceful campsite
Such a beautiful property! We stayed at site 2 for a night and loved it. We brought our dog and were able to let her run free off leash since it’s a large meadow with a fence all around it. It was a hot day but there was always some shade to be found. There was also easy access to firewood and to the outhouse, and the outhouse was very clean. We could faintly hear the family at the other campsite but we couldn’t see them at all from our campsite and they were quite far away, so it felt private!

Site 2 - The Forge at Fiddler's Ridge
Tribe Campout
The “Tribe” had an AMAZING time this weekend staying on John’s land! This was our 3rd campout and nothing less than perfect. The campsite is remote and peaceful with all the natural beauty that surrounds. The fire pit hosted many wonderful conversations throughout the night. We will definitely be back to enjoy the serenity that John, and his land, provides!
